Mr. William "Bobby" Gambrell, 81, of 225 Greenland Road Anderson, SC, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016.

Bill was a Veteran of the United States Army and a self employed Brick Mason. 

He is survived by his three sisters, Birdie Tyler, Lorene Lee and Dorothy Kirk; one brother, Rufus Gambrell, Jr.; and a host of other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara E. Witherspoon Gambrell; parents, Rufus and Evangeline Anderson Gambrell; one sister, Ruby Wiggins; and one brother, Woodrow Gambrell.

The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  The interment will follow at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

The family is at the home of his brother, Rufus (Patricia) Gambrell, 324 Hillcrest Circle Anderson, SC 29624.
