Winfield Jones

Mr. Winfield Jones, 88, of 6514 Highway 76, Pendleton, SC, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021.

He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Lois (Kevin) Williams; three sons, James Jones "Clayton", Robert Jones "Robbie", and Harvey Jones, Sr. "Butch"; a grandson reared in the home, Alfred Jones "Pig"; two brothers, Robert Jones, Sr. and William Jones; three sisters, Lula J. Crawley, Dessie Johnson, and Mary Watt; twenty-two grandchildren, forty-eight great-grandchildren, and twenty-five great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma "Polly" Lois Wilkes Jones; parents, Ernest and Alberta Bruce Jones; stepmother, Isolena Jones; two sons, Donnie Ray Jones and Carl Douglas Jones; a granddaughter reared in the home, Sherdine Clark "Punkin"; one grandson, Michael Jones "Mike"; five brothers, JC Jones, Willie Jones, Melvin Jones, Nathaniel Jones, and Billie Bruce; and three sisters, Mamie Sue Patterson, Annie Lois Jones, and Flora Corner.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Snow Hill Baptist Church in Fair Play, SC.  Public viewing will be held Wednesday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
