Willie James Lomax

Willie James Lomax was born on June 2, 1952  in Abbeville, SC. He departed this life on December 24, 2018.

Willie graduated from Westside High School in Anderson, SC and Tri-County Technical College in Pendleton, SC.  He was a hard-worker, dedicating years of loyalty to Electrolux Company in Anderson, SC. 
   
Special moments shared with him will fill his family's memories.  As an avid football fan, Willie enjoyed watching the Clemson Tigers and the New England Patriots.  Willie will be remembered for his kind heart, delicate nature and smile which will be cherished by his loved ones forever. 
   
Mr. Lomax leaves behind his memory with his wife, Evelyn Gideon Lomax, sons, Willie Smith (Janell) and LaShan Smith (Shala), and daughter, Evelyn Groves.  He also leaves behind his wonderful grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and amazing co-workers.

Willie joins his mother, Rosa Aiken; brothers, Joe Baskin and James Baskin; sisters, Rosa Mae Johnson and Vereatha Johnson; and his aunt, Hannah Boyce in spirit. 

The funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2018 at Mtn. Spring Baptist Church in Anderson, SC.  The interment will follow at Fairfield Baptist Church Cemetery in Abbeville, SC.

The family is at the home, 2701 Cedar Lane Anderson, SC 29621.
