We are gathered here together to celebrate the life of William “Perry” Ware, who passed away from his life to eternal life on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Callie and John Hospice House. He was born to the late Georgia E. Earle on October 31, 1945.
Perry Ware was a loving dad, grandad, and great-grandad. Everybody loved “P Ware”. He was well known in the community for making sure every child in the community knew that “P Ware” was Papa.
Perry Ware leaves to cherish his memory to his loving wife, Geneva F. Ware; sons, William F. Freeman of Greenville, SC, Jamie Ware (Shelby), Scottie Ware (Amanda), and Gerrick Ware (Melinda) all of Anderson SC; daughters, Suzette Freeman (Chuck), Tracy Walker (John), Bridgette Freeman (Marvin) and Andrea Ware; sisters, Alma Ware, Ethelrene Earl, and Etrulia Thompson (Booker); twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia E. Earle; brother, Leo Ware, Sr.; three grandsons, Galand Ware, Antonio Adger, and Detonio Ware.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2023 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will be held on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
The family will be at 700 West Mauldin Street and 1323 Marne Street, Anderson, SC.
