Wanda Gail (Clinkscales) Norris

On Thursday, November 23, 2023, Wanda Gail Clinkscales Norris departed this life peacefully at her home.  She was born July 18, 1962 to the late Robert and Annie Ruth Chamblee Clinkscales.

Gail was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.  She enjoyed singing on the church choir and praising the Lord.  She also loved to dress and have fun with her family and close friends.  Gail was employed at Anderson Memorial Hospital for over 20 years.  She had a heart for caring and serving others.  After leaving the hospital, she started doing private care.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Jasper Roy Norris; her daughter and son, Zabrijeah Norris and Dondrickus West; one granddaughter, Kamaria Geyona West all of Anderson, SC; two sisters, Joyce Clinkscales Smith of Anderson, SC and Mary Ellen Clinkscales of Boston, MA; two brothers, Pastor Larry (Patricia) Clinkscales and Donald (Zina) Clinkscales both of Anderson, SC; two great-great nieces, Journee Sullivan and LeKhia Boseman both reared in the home; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy and Ray Clinkscales; one niece, Monica "Gina" Clinkscales; and one nephew, Antonio "Spanky" Harrison.

Public viewing will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  A private celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 by the family and close friends.

The family will be at their respective homes.
