Ulysses (Cooter) West, Sr.

Mr. Ulysses "Cooter" West, Sr., 86, of 204 Dublin Court, Anderson, SC 29621, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Mary Banks West; children, Angela (Odell) Burns, Janice (Kenneth) Richardson, Ulysses (Robin) West, Jr., and Terry (Sabine) West; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.  He will also be missed by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Grace Small Perry; one grandchild, Camrynn West; and one great-grandchild, Gabriel Elijah Burns.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Evergreen Baptist Church.  The interment will follow at Mt. Herman Baptist Church Cemetery.  Public viewing Friday from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 

The family is at the home, 204 Dublin Court, Anderson, SC.
