Mr. Tony Lee Jackson was born in Anderson, South Carolina on August 20, 1955. He passed away on February 9, 2025 at Regency Hospital - Anderson.
Tony graduated from Westside High School in 1973. After high school he joined the United States Army and received an Honorable Discharge. Tony joined King David Baptist Church at an early age. Later he started attending Salem Presbyterian Church. He worked for many years with the City of Anderson, until his health declined. In his spare time, he loved to fish.
He will be missed by his sons, Tony Decarlos (Nikki) Clinkscales and Mayo L. Pickens; one grandson, Kamaury Brown; stepfather, Hurbert Davis; two sisters, Debra Davis and Ethel (Garvin) Robertson; one brother, Hubert Dell Davis; stepson, Jayvon Pickens; niece, Kanisha Davis; nephews, Anthony Johnson, Dee Robertson, Nytavious Tate, Chris Davis, and Deangelo Rashad Davis; and a host of relatives.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Jackson Davis and father, James Jones.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. The interment will follow at King David Baptist Church Cemetery. Public viewing will be held Friday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of his son, Carlos Clinkscales, 2405 Fleming Drive, Anderson, SC.
