A beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.
Born September 26, 1996 to parents Rodney and Natasha Williams. Tatayana attended Bethel AME Church and was a proud 2015 graduate of Anderson Charter School. In 2024, she earned her degree from Greenville Technical College as a Dental Hygienist. Tattie was a hard worker and had a commitment to making people feel cared for, especially children and the elderly.
Tattie was deeply family-oriented and had ways to make sure everyone knew they were loved and special. Whether through her laughter, her giving nature, cooking and hosting or her unwavering support, Tattie left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Tatayana leaves behind her twin daughters, Kaaliyah & Kasai Johnson; parents, Rodney & Natasha Williams; her twin brother, Malik Johnson (Raven); siblings, Keyshawn Nance (Britney), Quinterrious & Marquese Tyler, Jadacuz, Claudia, Makiyah, & Jaqurial Williams, Makia & Maliyah Smith, and Quinin Johnson; nieces, Abrielle & Makilah Johnson and nephews, Kyrie, Kadarius, & Keyvontae Nance; and her grandparents, Brenda Johnson, Allen Surratt, Ricky & Yvonne Goodwin, and Corine Adams. Tatayana leaves behind aunts and uncles that she loved in her own special way and a host of cousins.
Tatayana was preceded in death by her angel son, Santana De’Shad Davis; grandparents, Morris & Gregory Webb and Rowdy Covington; great grandparents, Doris & Herbert Johnson, Wallace & Miriam Goodwin, Esther Evans & Alvin Washington; aunt, Dorthy “Duck" Johnson; uncles, Billy Ray Johnson, Timmy Johnson, Christopher Willingham and Leonard Goodwin; and her cousins, Quendarius Goss and Davonte Thomas.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. You can honor Tatayana's life from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
