Tanasia Simone Boseman affectionately known as “Nasia” was born to Priscilla Boseman and Rodney Gregory on July 26, 1999, at Anderson Memorial Hospital.
Tanasia had a great personality and the prettiest smile. She loved music, singing, cooking/baking, and spending time with her siblings, family, and friends. She was a very wise young lady and gave great advice to others. Tanasia was the glue to the family and also initiated/planned family gatherings. Among many things, she was also ambitious, loyal, smart, adventurous, and funny. She lived her life to the fullest and took every opportunity to travel.
Tanasia graduated from Westside High School being recognized for being a National Honors Society member, a Duke National Honors Society member, a Beta Club member, and being top 10 of her graduating class. She played the clarinet from 6th - 12th grade and was drum major for the Westside High School Band.
She will be greatly missed by her mother, Priscilla Boseman; her father, Rodney Gregory; and bonus parents, Brandon Adams and Judy Scott; sisters, Samiyah & Keyaunah Adams; brother, Brayden Adams; grandmother, Lydia Ann Boseman; and uncles, Lawrence Boseman Jr., James Geer, Kendall Harkness, Stefan Staley, Damean Gregory, and Eric Thompson; and aunt, Veronica Geer. In addition a large host of cousins and close friends.
Tanasia is preceded in death by her grandmother, Diane Gregory; grandfather, Lawrence Boseman Sr.; and great grandmother, Lucille Geer.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Welfare Baptist Church. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family is at 224 Duvall Way, Anderson, SC and 314 Hillcrest Circle, Anderson, SC.
