Talayah Lucille Donaldson

Talayah Lucille Donaldson was born on January 17, 2025 to Tynisha Lashae Jones and Emmanuel Fitzgerald Donaldson, Jr. She drifted off to eternal sleep in the arms of Jesus on December 12, 2025.  Throughout her brief time with us, Talayah filled countless lives with joy and love. Our family is forever changed and forever grateful to have spent this brief, but incredibly meaningful, time with Talayah.  

Talayah will be forever cherished and remembered by her parents; her siblings, Titianna Donaldson, Emandria Donaldson, and Teagan Jones; her grandparents; James Robert Jones and Roslyn Renee Jones of Mt. Carmel, SC and Rev. Emmanuel Donaldson, Sr. and Monica Donaldson of Abbeville, SC; great-grandparents, Carolyn Tompkins and Elizabeth Jones; aunts and uncles, Craig Augustus (Ashton) Jones, Cayden Glaze, Antonio (India) Donaldson, Chassity Donaldson, Malik Donaldson, Kisha Donaldson, Jasmine Donaldson, Emonie Donaldson, Valerie Donaldson, Andra Donaldson, Tonia Sloan, Tevin (Ashley) Gartrell, and Alexandria (Calvin) Johnson; and a host of cousins.

She was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Booker Elam, Sr., James Tompkins, James Douglas Jones, Jessie Lee Jones, Lucille Donaldson, and Earlia Donaldson.

Services for Talayah will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Flat Rock A.M.E. Church.  The interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Public viewing Wednesday from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family is at 1211 Brownlee Road, Abbeville, SC.
