Sylvester Sloan

Mr. Sylvester Sloan was born on August 7, 1949 to Reese and Margaret Sloan.  He departed this life on Friday, March 31, 2023.

He is survived by his wife, Lena D. Whitfield Sloan; children, Stephanie Sloan, Angelique (Dennis) Stone, and Margaret (Patrick) Carter; one grandson, Danny Carter; one sister, Helen Williams of Lake Wells, FL; and a host of relatives.

The interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
