Shunnon Lamar Chillious

Shunnon Chillious, the son of the late Albert Chillious, Sr. and Shirley Miller Chillious was born on October 28, 1977,  in Anderson SC.  He departed this life on May 9, 2023 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

From Pendleton Gardens to Broadway Lake, Shun’s myriad of passions stemmed from sports where he lettered in football and track at Westside High School, from his loving children, from car racing where he attended some races and enjoyed watching it on tv, and from restoring cars under the guidance and influence of Mr.  Morris Dennis.  Shun perfected his craft in the paint and autobody industry.  After graduating from Greenville Tech, he started painting in a building with a leaky roof located on Nardin Ave.  Wanting to take his talents to the next level, Shun painted cars in Greenville before opening up Elmo’s Customs in Anderson, SC.  Shun’s work has been featured in several DVDs, magazines, local newspapers, and TI’s music video Do Ya Thang.  He fulfilled a prophecy to become internationally known as well as reaping the abundance of blessings overflowing from heaven’s floodgates.

He leaves to mourn three sons, Quashaun Lamarious Chillious of Mount Vernon, GA, Rodriques TiquanThomas of Anderson, SC and Soveren Chillious of Anderson, SC; two daughters, Shabreek Karasia Nisjeah Winn of Anderson SC and Tyanna Qunintaria Chillious of Mount Vernon GA; one grandchild, Sylus Trenell Hollis of Mount Vernon, GA; two brothers, Albert Chillious, Jr. (Lisa) and Travis Chillious (Leslie) both Greenville SC; four sisters, Tabatha C. Gambrell (John) of Hope Mills, NC, Adrienne Chillious of Greenville SC, Tara White and Tammy White both of Brooklyn, NY; two uncles, Willie Miller (Betty) and Eddie Miller (Teresa) both of Anderson, SC; one great-uncle, Sammie Miller of Greenville, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  Public viewing will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
