Sharon Yvette (Heard) Jones

Sharon Yvette Heard Jones was born in Anderson, SC on March 26, 1959.  She departed this life on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

She is survived by her children, Sharica L. Heard, Alexis N. (Duane) DaCosta, and Antonio R. Heard; her father, Cager Kay; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Gwendolyn (Kevin) Davis, Catherine (Kelly) Freeman, and Sandra Robinson-Wiley; one brother, Bobby Heard; a special friend, Lealon Garrison; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ella Mae Heard Kay; her first husband, Larry Jones; her second husband, James Nelson Hall; and one sister, Janice Kay.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  The interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery.  Public viewing will be held on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
