Sarah B. Williams

Sarah B. Williams, aka "Momma", departed this earthly life on Good Friday, April 10, 2020.  After a valiant battle with pneumonia with no additional medical complications, the Lord called his child home and she answered His call. 

Sarah was born to Reid and Mattie Miller (both preceded her to glory) on April 19, 1923 in Abbeville, SC. This union also bore Sarah's siblings: Helen, James and 3 brothers who preceded her to glory: Frank, Reid Jr and Ernest Lee
 

Sarah met and married Claudus H. Williams (preceded her to glory) in Abbeville, SC and together they had 12 children: Wallace, Jesse, Ricky, Mattie Ruth, Clara, Sylvia (Jahi, preceded his mother-in-law to glory), James and Doris.  Henry Jr, Evelyn, Sarah Ann & George Willie preceded her to glory.

Sarah was a lifelong and devoted member of Flat Rock A.M.E. Church and was blessed with many grands/great grands/great, great grands, etc. She was especially grateful for the ones who were physically there to lend a helping hand, make her laugh, and help care for her overall. So, in much deserved recognition, the Williams siblings would like to give a collective THANK YOU to momma's granddaughter Lacretia(Tia/Cretia) Williams-Taylor. 

We love and miss you momma. Your work here is done. Rest easy...

A gathering in South Carolina in honor of Sarah's memory will be announced in the future.
