Sanford Olin Chamblee

Sanford Chamblee, affectionately known as "Papa", 75, was born on March 5, 1946, to the late Jaolin and Dessie Mae Chamblee.  Sanford became a member of Abel Baptist Church at an early age.  He is a graduate of Clearview High School (Easley, S.C).  Sanford was an employee at Anmed Health Medical Center until his health declined.

Sanford leaves to cherish very fond memories: his beloved wife, Lula Mae Wiley Chamblee; one daughter, Shannon (Perez) Sloan of Anderson, SC; three sons, Stanley (Linda) Chamblee of Anderson, SC, Gregory (Ursula) Cannon of Columbia, SC, and Lamar Chamblee of Anderson, SC; two sisters, Gracie Mae (James) McCloyn of Gardena, CA and Jeraldine Norman of Clemson, SC; one brother, James Fletcher of Baltimore, MD; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a host of loving family members. 

In addition to his parents, Sanford was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sandee Chamblee.

Public viewing will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday , November 23, 2021 at Mt. Olive Crusade Center.  The interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery.
