Samuel Jerome Brown

Samuel Jerome Brown, 59, departed this life on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital. 

He was born October 5, 1963 to the late Sammy and Shirley Gambrell Brown.  Jerome graduated from Pendleton High School, where he played varsity football during his freshman and senior years.

Jerome will be missed by all who loved him.  He is survived by one son, Keena Brown of Clemson, SC; one daughter, Kiearra Brown of Seneca, SC; four sisters, Shirley (Charles) Harrison of Pendleton, SC, Juanita (Russell) Fruster of Pendleton, SC, Sandra Brown of Anderson, SC and Evette (Jeff) Brown of Pendleton, SC; six brothers, Donell (Melissa) Brown of Pendleton, SC, Lionell (Laura) Brown of Seneca, SC, Louis (Janneica) Brown of Central, SC, Steve Brown of Anderson, SC, Jerry Brown of Anderson, SC and Chris (Andrea) Brown of Anderson, SC; one granddaughter, Ava; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  The interment will follow at Mt. Able Baptist Church Cemetery.  Public viewing will be held on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
