Mrs. Rosa Lee Wardlaw Hampton was born on April 28, 1945 in Anderson, South Carolina. She passed away on December 10, 2024.
Rosa graduated from Old Westside High School. She furthered her education at Tri-County Tech and Forest College. She completed courses and exams to become a Certified Residential Appraisal for Anderson County. She was responsible for the appraisal of all types of properties in Anderson. Rosa was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing and helping with activities for the youth and seniors. She also loved to read and talk with her friends.
She will be dearly missed by her son, Earl Timothy Hampton II; Earl Timothy Hampton, Sr., one granddaughter, Eliyanah Hampton; two sisters, Teressa W. Crocker and Bobbie W. Omoosanyin; two brothers, Clarence E. Wardlaw and John C. (Yvonne) Wardlaw, Jr.; and a host of relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John C. Wardlaw, Sr. and Lillie Lee Starks Wardlaw, and one sister, Mamie Wardlaw.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Ebenezer Baptist Church.
