Rodrick Rashad Bell departed this life on June 12, 2026. He was the only child born to Mona Lisa Williams and the late Roger Lee Bell on July 18, 1995.
Rodrick attended school in Anderson County and graduated from Hanna High School. Rodrick wanted to attend Johnson and Wales in Charlotte, NC for Culinary Arts as well as the military but God Had a different career path for him. Rodrick worked at various manufacturing plants in Anderson throughout his lifetime.
Rodrick loved his parents and family and enjoyed fishing, riding his bike, hanging with his friends and helping his fellow man whenever he could. Although he didn’t have any children of his own, he loved all children and would always take out time to play with them. He was a good friend to many, as well as a good son, grandson, nephew and cousin. His father passed in March of 2026, and Rodrick vowed to step up and be a good father figure to the younger children and cousins and a good friend just like his father.
Rodrick attended Mt. Herman Baptist Church at a young age and was a fast learner and an inquisitive young child who loved learning about the goodness of the Lord. He had an infectious smile that would light up a room. Rodrick had a deep passion for his family and a love of life.
He was preceded in death by his father Roger Lee Bell, his maternal grandfather Claude Williams, his paternal grandparents Lonnie Bell and Alice Logan Bell.
He is survived by his loving mother Lisa Williams, grandmother Estella Williams, aunts Connie Kelley, Jannie (Charlie) Ervin, Floride Fant, Jean (Rufus) Clinkscales, Claudine (John) Hagood, Evangelist Glennie Williams, Angie Davis, Shaunta Williams-Duncan, Angela Marie Bell and Joyce Ann Bell. He is also survived by his uncles Paul Williams, Lester (Renee) Williams, Jackie Williams, Stanford (Lonzena) Williams, Terrial Williams, Patrick (Tenisha) Wiliams, Donnie Ray (Reverend Nina) Holland, Reverend Stanley (Rachel) Bell and Mark Logan. He also leaves to mourn a host of cousins, family members and special cousins who were like brothers to him, Marlow Hadden, Charles Davis, Chadwick Davis, Fredward “Cuddy” Gilbough, Lorenzo Hadden and Lante Hadden.
Rodrick will be missed by all his family and friends, and we will continue to hold him near and dear in our hearts as we navigate life on this side, without his physical presence.
We know that we will see him again on the other side. Until then Rodrick, take your rest in the arms of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We love you.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Mt. Herman Baptist Church. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing Monday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
