Roderic DuBose Obituary
Mr. Roderic Lewis DuBose, 48, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories, his fiancée, Channie Reese Dubose; son, Roderic Lewis Dubose, Jr. (RJ); sister, Tadausa Butler; brothers, James Bulter and Elijah Moss; seven nephews and two nieces; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Dubose, Jr. and Mary Lucille Marshall Butler; stepfather, James S. Butler; grandparents, Andrew Clotel Marshall, Nannie McGrier Marshall, Robert Lee Butler, Sr., Apostle Rosa Belle Dubose, James H. Butler, and Elizabeth I. Butler.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at New Light Community Center. Lawn chairs are welcomed. The interment will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery.
Public viewing will be held Monday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
