Robert Clinton Beeks

Mr. Robert Clinton Beeks, 71, of Honea Path, SC, departed this life on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at his home. Born June 11, 1951 in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Clinton and Annette H. Beeks.

Robert "Beeks" was a devoted husband, wholesome father and loving Papa. He was tenderly known as "Bae-Bae" to his sister, niece, great niece and nephews. He always held strong to important values like faith and family and loved to laugh. Robert had a host of close friends and yet never met a stranger along the way. He honored and nurtured his family and many friendships with love and loyalty.

Robert graduated from Westside High School, Class of 1969. He worked many years and retired with Sunbeam (Sarah Lee) Bread Company. He later began his own small Bartending Business, which he enjoyed.  For many years Robert was a faithful member of Charity Springs Church where he served on the Male Chorus. 

Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Evelyn Beeks; four children, Colicous (Beverly) Allen, Brittney (Travis) Childs, Chelsea and Damion Davis; eight grandchildren, Diandra Allen, Marcelus Allen, Akyah Miranda, Tristan Childs, Brenton Robert Childs, Graysen Childs, Jacobi Davis, and Jalean Davis; one sister, Linda (Joe) Edwards; close cousin, Robert Eddie Hall; and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Annette Hall Beeks; and one nephew, Jeremy Edwards.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at First Baptist Church.  Public viewing 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. pm Monday at the funeral home.

The family is at the home, 313 East Hampton Ave.  in Honea Path, SC and 404 East Franklin Street in Anderson, SC.
