Mrs. Rita Faye Mattress, 61, of 1727 Refuge Road Pendleton, SC, departed this life on Sunday, December 1, 2019.
She is survived by her mother, Jesse Mae Gantt; her mother-in-law, Henrietta Mattress; one daughter, NeKesha Mattress Robinson (Calvin); one son, Jeremy Mattress; twelve grandchildren; two sisters, Annarie Ellison and Christine Bailey; three brothers, Marcell Gantt, Charles Gantt, and Franklin Gantt, Sr.; a loving companion, Luke Hadden; and a host of relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Louis Mattress; one daughter, Kimberly Rashieka Mattress; father, Pete Gantt; and her father-in-law, TC Mattress, Sr.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Piney Grove Baptist Church (Sandy Springs). The interment will follow in the church cemetery.
