Rayburn Rice Obituary

Rayburn Rice, 61, formerly of Pendleton, SC, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020 in Elida, Ohio. He was born on January 2, 1959, to the late JD and Joan Morris Rice.

Rayburn was a veteran of United States Army and served in Desert Storm. He was an avid Clemson football fan and loved to fish.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife, Carla Sandlin of Elida, OH; one son, Michael Rice of Anderson, SC; five daughters, Deidre Rice, Belikia Isom and Breanna Rice all of Anderson, SC and Shayla and Mikaila Rice both of Elida, OH; two granddaughters, Kalexia Bell and Harmoni Rice; one brother, Benjamin Rice of Atlanta, GA; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at Harter and Schier Funeral Home; where there will be military grave rites by the Delphos Veterans Council. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date in South Carolina.
