Phyllis Diane Harris

Phyllis Harris, age 66, of Anderson, SC, passed away on August 30, 2025, after facing serious medical issues with courage.  She was born in Anderson, SC to the late Lula Mae Freeman Harris and Luther Edward Harris.

Phyllis was raised in New Jersey and resided there most of her life.  She was a supervisor at Woodbridge Development Center in Woodbridge, NJ, where she worked for over 30 years assisting disabled individuals. 

Phyllis was a beloved family member and friend, bringing joy and laughter into the lives of those who were blessed to know her.  She had a big heart and the love she gave to everyone was genuine.  One of her passions in life was modeling at different events.  When she walked the runway, you could see the sparkle of joy all over her face.  She will be greatly missed by her family and close friends.

She leaves to continue her legacy, a loving daughter, Vaness (Richard) Harris-Brooks; her grandchildren, Kairon Trimblett and Cyntoria Brooks; her siblings, Cheryl Harris, Eddie (Shirl) Harris, Michael Johnson, and Lisa Harris; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2025 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.
