Patrick Bernard Williams

Pastor Patrick Bernard Williams, 61, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, at AnMed hospital. Born on December 9, 1963, in Washington D.C. to Aurthur Avon Williams and Corinne Ellen Williams (Grier), Patrick later moved to Pendleton, SC along with his father and two of his siblings where he was raised. Patrick graduated from Pendleton High school and worked as a head section leader at Glen Raven for over 30 years.

Patrick Williams was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, in accordance to ACTS 2:38, and was filled with the Holy Ghost. In 2005 he was called to preach the word of God based on the Apostolic Doctrine, which he preached from his home. In February 2010, Patrick had open-heart surgery; a surgery of this magnitude typically lasts for ten years, but God gave him fifteen years! Patrick loved and enjoyed spending time with his family, working out with his many friends at the YMCA, and blasting his gospel playlist.

Patrick leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 31 years Catherine Jean Williams (Hoover), his mother Corinne Williams of Washington, D.C., his son Patrick Bernard Williams Jr., his daughter Nelika Williams, his son Brandon Williams, his daughters Sharhonda Williams, Kendall Williams, Jacquelyn Williams, and Angela Williams. His sister Yvonne Williams, brother Anthony Williams, his sister Mary Joyce Williams of Washington, D.C., and his incredibly special sister-in-law Mary Hoover. His eleven grandchildren: Jayla Benson, Raekwon McIntosh, Malachi McIntosh, Nolan Williams, Conner Williams, Joshlyn Black, Joshua Black, King Black, Tyce Freeman and our twins Brayden and Kayden Williams; A plethora of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Patrick is preceded in death by his father Authur Williams, and his grandparents Louellen and Marie Williams, and McNeil and Rosa Hunter Grier.

A graveside service honoring the life of Pastor Patrick Williams will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Anderson Memorial Gardens.  Public viewing will be held Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
