Orenthal Bernard Thomas
Obituary
Orenthal Bernard Thomas was born in Anderson, SC to the late King Edward and Cynthia Viola Thomas. He was a graduate of Westside High School class of 1988. Ren was employed alongside his mom at Culp Woven Velvet as a textile worker. He late became a cook for Quincy's. This was a lifelong passion. Ren loved to dance and listen to music, but being with his family and making memories was one of his favorite things to do.
He leaves to mourn, one son, Donta' Stovall of Anderson, SC; two siblings, Yaphet (Darlene) Thomas and Katisha (Shanelle) Thomas both of Anderson, SC; his beloved nephews, Yaphet Amir Thomas, Tariq Thomas, Omarian Thomas, and Kamariyon Thomas; two nieces, KaDaijah Watson and Yamariah Thomas all of Anderson, SC; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his nephew, King Mack Omar Thomas and his grandmothers, Ruth Brown, Pearl Oglesby, Viola Dillard and Eula "Tab" Thomas.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Asbury Memorial Baptist Church.
