Norma Iris Chevere

Norma Iris Chevere, age 72, of Central, South Carolina, was born in Brooklyn, New York.  She departed this life on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital in Easley, SC.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister and two brothers.

She is survived by her son Frederick J. Ramos (Katrina) of Anderson, SC; three grandsons, Frederick A. Ramos, Jr. (Tonya) of Greenville, SC, Andrew W. Ramos of Brooklyn, NY and Jonathon T. Ramos of Brooklyn, NY; one great-grandson Cairo Ramos of Brooklyn, NY; one brother Robert Chevere of Brooklyn, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Norma was employed by Continental Insurance Company for many years prior to her failing health.  She loved her family and God.  She was the go-to person for her parents and siblings.  She simply doted over her grandsons as she took them on many adventures.  Lastly she loved jewelry as bright as the shining star!  Rest easy Mom....you will forever be in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.
