Mattie B. Clinkscales

Mattie B. Clinkscales, 76, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Linley Park Nursing Center and Rehabilitation.

She is survived by her three sisters, Odella Williams, Peggy Williams, and Lydia (Odell) Mae Stowers; two brothers, John T. (Johnnie) Williams and Jacob Williams; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Williams; and a host of relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Idella Hunter Williams; one sister, Martha Strong; and three brothers, Nathaniel Williams, Samuel Williams, and Carlton Williams.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Piney Grove Baptist Church (Sandy Springs).  The interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Due to COVID-19, there will be limited seating to accommodate the family.

Friends may pay their respects and send floral arrangements on Thursday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of her sister, Odella Williams, 201 Polaris St., Anderson, SC.
