Mary Lee (Thompson) Lindsey

Mrs. Mary Lee Lindsey, 85, of 214 Hillcrest Circle, Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020.

She leaves to cherish fond memories,  her four daughters, Pauline Lindsey, Mary Joyce Brown, Beverly Anita Lindsey, Glenda Faye Lindsey and one son, Alvin Dwayne Lindsey all of Anderson, SC. She had ten grandchildren. Irigous Lindsey, Anderson, SC,  Shavayae Bell, Anderson, SC, and Reggie Mance, Anderson, SC,  all reared in the home with her. Kelci (Stephanie) Lindsey, Tennessee,  Mondricus (Kristina) Lindsey, Anderson, SC, Reverend Umeka Lindsey-Goodwine (Keith), Anderson, SC, Shepairo Lindsey, Anderson, SC, Cissy Lindsey (Kenny) Lee, Atlanta, GA, D’Anne Brown, Anderson, SC and Ty’re (Brittini) Harrison, Anderson, SC. Twenty great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She also leaves her brother-in-law, James E. Lindsey, Anderson, SC, and two sisters-in-law, Georgia Ann Lindsey, Williamston, SC, and Inez Green Lindsey, Belton, SC.

Mrs. Mary (Mae) Lindsey was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Alvin Lindsey, Her parents, Holman and Rodella (Norris) Thompson, her son, Woodrow Lindsey, her sister, Estella Thompson-Little, and her twin brothers, Weston Holman and William Herman Thompson.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the funeral home.  Lawn-chairs and masks/facial coverings are welcomed.  The interment will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

Friends may pay their respects and send floral arrangements on Friday from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
