Mrs. Mamie Lee Smith, 95, of 1107 White Street, Pendleton, SC, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020.
She is survived by her two daughters, Vivian E. Gambrell and Gwendolyn E. Reese; two sons, Herman L. Smith and Ray C. Smith; ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice Jones; one brother, Willie E. Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Jackson Smith; parents, Will and Lola Walker Jones; one daughter, Frances L. Lee Smith; one son, Leland Eugene Smith; two grandchildren, Michael L. Reese and Nikki Reese; four brothers, John Henry Jones, Lawyer Jones, Marcell Jones, and Clarence Jones; and four sisters, Eva B. Jones, Fannie McGee, Florine Anderson, and Katherine Jones.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
Friends may pay their respects and send floral arrangements on Wednesday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
