Lucious Brown Green

Mrs. Lucious Brown Green, 82, of 4003 Calvert Street in Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Prisma Greenville Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Fred) Moore, Taysha Winfield, and Tonya (James) Dewitt; sons, John Winfield, Tracy Winfield, Rodney (Denise) Winfield, Terrell Winfield, and Christopher Winfield; one grandson reared in the home, Marc (Melissa) Hogan; twenty-three grandchildren and fifteen grandchildren; twin brother, Luther Brown; sisters, Pauline Oliver and Bernice (Larkin) Tate; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelia and Gassy Brown; her brothers, Levis Brown and Arthur Brown; two sisters, Alberta Sadler and Eva Mae Tate; two daughters, Johnnie Mae WInfield and Shirley Ann Winfield; one granddaughter, Latasha Young. 

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2021 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  The interment will follow at Evergreen C.M.E. Church Cemetery.  Public viewing will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
