Mrs. Lorene Gambrell Hardy Lee, 93, of Anderson, SC, passed away on January 27, 2021.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie (Marion) Clinkscales and Lakesha D. Hardy; one sister, Dorothy L. Kirk; one brother, Rufus Gambrell, Jr.; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Vertice Hardy; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alex Hardy, Jr. and her husband of ten years, Curtis I. Lee; parents, Rufus and Evangeline Anderson Gambrell; two children, Mary Diane Hardy and Herman Hardy; and four siblings, Woodrow Gambrell, Birdie E. Tyler, Ruby M. Wiggins, and William L. Gambrell.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
Friends may pay their respects and send floral arrangements on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
