Lonnie Maddox Obituary
Mr. Lonnie Ray Maddox, 61, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.
He received an Honorable Discharge from the Army Reserve in 1978.
He is survived by his daughters, Angela Lewis and Raynesha Maddox; sons, Lonnie N. Maddox, Jermaine Lewis, and Jonathan Jones; sisters, Barbara Thomason, Carolyn Heard, and Paula Vance; brothers, Dr. Johnny Edward (Candace) Maddox and Jeffrey Rhodes; thirteen grandchildren; a niece reared in the home, Lakiesha Jones; special friend, Darlene Mattison; and a host of relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Lula Mae Gambrell Maddox; one sister, Pamela Maddox; and two brothers, Johnny Earl Maddox and James Leo Maddox.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. Public viewing will be held on Thursday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of his sister, Minister Carolyn Heard, 138 Old Denver Road Anderson, SC 29625.
