Lonnie Chamblee, Sr.

Mr. Lonnie Chamblee, Sr., 98, of 205 Daniel Street in Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

He is survived by his three daughters, Dell Ree Chamblee McDonald, Cathy Chamblee Johnson, and Juanita Saddler; one son, Lonnie R. Chamblee, Jr.; a nephew reared in the home, James Martin; three sisters, Bessie Mae Chamblee, Ruby Nell Johnson, and Rebecca Richardson; one brother, Bobby Joe Chamblee; ten grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Mae Sims Chamblee; parents, John and Willie Mae Pickens Chamblee; three sisters, Johnnie Mae Fair, Annie Ruth Clinkscales, Betty Jo Campbell; and eight brothers, Stewart Chamblee, Sgt. John Paul Chamblee, Ulysses Chamblee, T.C. Chamblee, Rufus Chamblee, R.L. Chamblee, A.C. Chamblee, and infant boy Chamblee.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.  The interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home, 205 Daniel Street Anderson, SC 29625.
