Lenora Hodges Bruce

Mrs. Lenora Hodges Bruce, 94, of 501 West Mauldin Street in Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.  Lenora was born in Oconee County, South Carolina to John Henry and Lois Orr Hodges.  She was a member of Asbury Memorial Baptist Church in Anderson, SC.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Latasha Fowler; sons, Howard Lee Price and Clarence Watkins; three grandchildren; nieces, Mildred Cathing, Doll Coleman, Lavelle Wilkes, and Rosa Lee Williams; nephews, James Albert Dill and Gerald Brown; a longtime friend, Jesse Adams; and a host of relatives from Anderson, Baltimore, and Connecticut.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bruce; parents, John Henry and Lois Orr Hodges; son,  Willie James Hodges; two sisters, Elnora Hodges and Mary Hodges; and three brothers, Newt Hodges, Azell Hodges, and John Junior Hodges.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Asbury Memorial Baptist Church.  The interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.  Public viewing will be held on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
