Mr. Lannis Kenneth Pinson Sr., 78 of Ellenwood, GA departed this life on Tuesday, November 11, 2020. Born in Anderson County on December 5, 1941. He was preceded in death by both parents Mrs. Hannah Christine Miller Pinson and Mr. Henry Pinson, and one son Mr. Anthony Michael Smith Pinson.
He joined King David Church at a young age. He was a brick mason by trade and retired from the Engineering Department of Anderson Area Medical Center.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his devoted wife of 42 years Mrs. Lois Freeman Pinson. Daughters: Angela Christine Pinson, Taylor Pinson, and Madison Pinson. Sons: Keith Pinson Sr., Lannis K. (Yvonne) Pinson Jr., and Brian Kenneth Pinson. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Mtn. View C.M.E. Church Cemetery.
Friends may pay their respects and send floral arrangements on Tuesday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
