Kwasaan Raheem Lomax

Kwasaan Raheem Lomax, age 31, also known as Quarterbird, was born in Anderson, SC on August 29, 1992. He departed this life on August 4, 2024 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Kwasaan was educated in Anderson County School District Five.  At a young age, Kwasaan attended Whitner Church of God, where he played the drums. Kwasaan enjoyed doing construction work and was a big fan of cars and motorcycles.

Kwasaan was known for his beautiful smile and swag. Kwasaan loved his mother and always asked her, “What did you cook?” He also loved his daughter, his nieces and nephews.  He played a big part in their lives.

Kwasaan made some mistakes, but as humans, we will make mistakes.  For we all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).  We cannot be saved from His judgment without being sinless.

Kwasaan is survived by his daughter, Janiyah Lomax; mother, Sheila Lomax; fathers, Kevin Bell and Henry Bell; fiancé, Tiffany Harris; siblings, Allysia Lomax, Kwala Lomax, Tyshun Lomax, Dearyl Martin, Pochelle Glenn, Stequan Glenn and Stevon Glenn; aunt, Michelle Lomax; uncles, Demetrus Lomax, Londas Maurice "J-Roc" Irby; great aunt, Mary Richardson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers; Clara Lomax and Betsy Bell; grandfather, Bobby Brownlee; and uncle, Bobby Brownlee, Jr.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  The interment will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday at Westview Cemetery.  Public viewing will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
