Kenneth Dawson

Mr. Kenneth Dawson was born in Anderson, South Carolina on August 8, 1943.  He departed this life on November 28, 2024.

Kenneth loved to read his Bible and Western books.  He also loved to watch Gun Smoke.

He is survived by five daughters, Mary Dean, Sandra Martin, Adelaide Dawson, and Tammy Gilbough all of Anderson, SC and Sheba Hunter of New York; two sons, Bobby Dawson and Kenny Hunter both of Anderson, SC; one sister, Mary (Henry) Perkins of Boston, MA; one brother, Benny Hue Dawson of Salem, NH; twenty-eight grandchildren and forty-eight great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Green Dawson; father, T.C. Dawson; mother, Mary Tucker Dawson; his daughter, Cynthia Dawson Winton; one sister, Jacqueline Rozena Dawson; and two brothers, T.C. Dawson, Jr. and Leroy Dawson.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2024 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  Public viewing will be held on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of his daughter, Mary Dean, 2501 Belaire Circle, Anderson, SC.
