Mrs. Judy Hall Gisstand was ushered into existence March 3, 1945 to the late Marcel Hall and Selma hall in Anderson, SC. She transitioned from earth to glory on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
Judy was a faithful and dedicated member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, serving in various capacities throughout her lifetime, including singing on the Senior and Mass Choirs.
Judy graduated from Riverside High School in Pendleton, SC. After high school she went to Friendship Junior College in Rock Hill, SC. She later moved to Cleveland, Ohio and worked for a number of years in various department stores.
She is survived by her son, Charles (Natalie) Gisstand and two grandsons, Andrew and Logan all of Quebec Cananda; daughter, Mellissa Gisstand of Anderson, SC; three sisters, Johnnie Mae (Johnny) Rogers, Peggy (Lafayette) Garrison, Gloria (Larry) Johnson all of Anderson, SC; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Gisstand; her parents, Marcell Hall and Selma Hall; two sisters, Zora Reed and Patsy Hall Mattison; and one brother, Bobby Hall.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Westview Cemetery. Public viewing will be held Tuesday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
