Joslin Oliver Malone was born January 26, 1960, to Margaret Oliver Edwards and the late Charles Edwards. She departed this life on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
Joslin moved to California from South Carolina, where she lived and worked for RPM Nuclear Energy Management. She was formerly married to Andy Malone and was a devoted mother to their son, Maximus. She pledged Alpha Xi Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., at South Carolina State University in the spring of 1982. She was dedicated and proud of her Sorority. She also was an avid Clemson fan.
Joslin fought her ongoing illness with an attitude of determination and trust in God. She will truly be missed by all of us. She is survived by her son, Maximus Malone and former husband, Andy Malone; her mother, Margaret Oliver Edwards; sisters, Helen Patterson, Ava (Kim) Wall, Erica Marion, and Olsey (Gilbert) Espinosa; brothers, Gregory Oliver, Charles Dickie Edwards, and Freddie Edwards; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Valerie Oliver and James Craft.
No public viewing will be held.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at University Baptist Church in Clemson. The interment will follow at Memory Gardens.
The family is at the home of her sister, Ava Wall, 109 Stephens Road, Pendleton, SC. A mask is required for all visitors.
