Joseph Johnson

Joseph Johnson was born in Anderson, SC on January 28, 1941 to Lue Nell Jones and Crosby Townes.  He departed this life on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Joyce Johnson; son, Ricky Johnson; sister, Frances Johnson; brother, Allen Johnson;  and a host of relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Roosevelt Johnson; sisters, Martha Ann Robinson, Julia Robinson, and Idella Robinson; brothers, Harry Johnson, J.T. Johnson, and Dewitt Johnson.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.

The family is at the home, 212 Smith Point Road, Townville, SC.
