Johnnie Ruth Crosby

Mrs. Johnnie Ruth Crosby, 96, formerly of Anderson, SC passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 in Sumter, SC.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca R. Jefferson; one sister, Irene Hunter; one brother, Joe (Faye) Williams; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Dorothy L. Fant; one sister-in-law, Flora Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ulysess Crosby; parents, Hattie Reed Williams and Joe Rich Williams; one son, Johnnie Joe Fant; siblings, JB Williams, Paul Williams, James Williams, Louvell Williams, Ernest Williams, and Lillian Hamilton; one grandson, Anthony Fant; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2020 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  The interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, April 24 from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m.
