Obituary
Mr. John Curtis Johnson was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 8, 1971 to Curtis and Bertha Mae Chalk Johnson. He departed this life on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Curtis was a former employee of Mama Penn's Restaurant in Anderson, SC. His presence on Southside will be dearly missed. The way he walked with confidence will never be forgotten.
He will be missed by his father, Curtis Johnson; one sister, Amy Johnson; one brother, Otis C. "OC" Johnson; a special friend, Mable H. Taylor; and host of relatives and close friends. Take your rest our dear brother and friend. We love you!
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2023 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel.
