Jerome "Booty" Terry

Mr. Jerome "Booty" Terry was born in Anderson County on May 18, 1955 to the late Lewis Terry and Ethel Moore.  He departed this life for his eternal home on June 5, 2020.

Jerome leaves to cherish his loving wife, Cynthia Gambrell Terry of 35 plus years; children, Sherico (Tawana) Smith, Verika Gambrell, and Mekeshio Smith all of Anderson, SC; and a very special and devoted son-in-law, Courtney Brown of Anderson, SC; brothers, Landis (Cynthia) Terry, Leroy Terry both of Greenville, SC, and Lewis Henry Williams of Washington, DC; four grandchildren, O'Shai Brown, O'Mari Brown, Sheree Smith, and Shedrick Smith all of Anderson, SC; two great-grandchildren, Ariel Brown and Morasia Brown both of Anderson, SC; and a lot of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. 

In addition to his parents, Jerome was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis and Corrine Terry; sister, Farrah Jane Fruster; uncles, Julius Terry, James Terry William Terry, Clifford Terry; and his aunt, Elizabeth Williford.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Mt. Able Baptist Church in Pendleton, SC.  

Friends may pay their respects and send floral arrangements on Saturday from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m
