Jeremy Maurice "Big Jerm" Brown

Jeremy Brown, lovingly known as “Big Jerm,” of 511 East Orr St. Anderson, SC passed away on July 3, 2025, at the age of 39 at AnMed Medical Center Anderson SC. Born on November 26, 1985, Jeremy was a beloved father, brother, and friend whose presence left a lasting impact on everyone he met.

Known for his big heart, infectious laugh, and even bigger personality, “Big Jerm” was a friend to many and a rock to those he loved. He was well mannered and loved his big brother. His memory will live on through the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely.

Jeremy’s greatest pride was his daughter Jazilin Brown, and he lovingly embraced his role as a father figure/mentor to Kamren Johnson, Asaun Willingham, Nasir McIver Erionna Burns and Erin Burns. He cherished his family deeply and found joy in watching them grow and succeed.

Jeremy’s loyalty, humor, and generous spirit will be remembered by all who knew him. He is survived by mother, Deborah Robinson; stepfather, Stanley Robinson; stepmother, Linda Brown of Greenville, SC; sister, Jessica Brown of Anderson, SC; brothers,  Fredrick (Teresa) Robinson of Jacksonville, FL and John Smith "Big Boi" of Anderson, SC, with whom he shared a close and unbreakable bond; sisters, Nykee Henderson of Anderson, SC and Mikayla Garcia Juasha Brown of Greenville, SC; one step-sister, Shanta Bennett all of Greenville, SC; and one brother, Jarvis Brown of Greenville SC. Jeremy also shared a special bond with his nieces and nephews.  He had a deep connection with Freshun Robinson, a nephew who was reared in the home.  He also leaves behind a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly. 

He was greeted into heaven by his loving father, Jeremiah Brown, his paternal and maternal grandparents.

A celebration of Jeremy’s life will be Friday, July 11, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.  In this time of sorrow, we honor his life, his legacy, and the joy he brought to those around him.  Public viewing Thursday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
