Jeffery Butler

Mr. Jeffery Butler was born January 30, 1965 in Augusta, GA to the late Rosie Lee Oglesby and Eugene Butler. He departed this life July 6, 2023.

Jeff was a hardworking man and he loved to work on cars. He was a loving father and husband until God called him home.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Rosie Lee Oglesby and Eugene Butler.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories; his wife Teresa Butler of Hartwell, GA; four sons; Quez Jones of Hartwell, GA, Donterious Rucker of Anderson, SC, Jae Butler of Silver Springs, MD, and Terry Butler of Gaithersburg, MD; one daughter, Terneisha Jones of Hartwell, GA; one sister; Betty Jean Butler of Anderson, SC; two brothers; Andrew Butler of Anderson, SC and T.J. Eades of New York; nine grandkids and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. Public viewing will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
