Jeanette Burns Sloan

Mrs. Jeanette Burns Sloan was born in Anderson County, South Carolina on January 6, 1954.  She passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 in Greenville, SC.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Shannon Sloan-Johnson; three sons, Adrian Burns, James Thompson, and Jermaine Bozeman; seventeen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; five sisters, Marie Howard, Evelina Burns, Sheron Pratt, Yvette Webb, and Alneder Burns; one brother, Clyde Burns, Jr.; and a host of relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sloan; parents, Julia Mae Telford Burns and Clyde Burns, Sr. and one son, Robert Sloan.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  Public viewing Tuesday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of her sister, Sheron "Lolo", 1910 Amity Road, Belton, SC.
