Jarvis Antonio Rogers

Jarvis Antonio Rogers, age 40, affectionately known as "Headie-B", departed his life on January 12th, 2025.

Born March 4th, 1984 in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Bobby Rogers and the late Teresa Stowers-Rogers.

Jarvis was a fun and loving person.  He was always cracking jokes.  Jarvis loved his family and always made sure they were smiling and happy.  He had a heart of gold.  It was the little things that he did to ensure everyone was happy and okay.

Jarvis leaves to cherish his son, King J. Rogers; two sisters, April N. Rogers of Anderson, SC and Nakia McCants of Rochester, NY; two brothers, Scotty L. Gaines of Anderson, SC and Rodriquez Gaines of Lithia Springs, GA; two special nieces, Kristyn and Kaiya; his favorite aunt, Beverly Stowers; one uncle, Johnny Rogers; a special friend, Pertisha Tillman; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Rogers and Teresa S. Rogers and his grandparents, Willie Wee Stowers, Maggie Rogers and Willie B. Rogers.

Jarvis will be truly missed by his family and close friends.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  The interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens.  Public viewing will be held Friday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of his sister, April Rogers, 1007 Freedom Ridge, Anderson, SC 29624.
