Janie Brown Obituary
Mrs. Janie Lou McDavid Brown, 80, of 509 Brittany Park in Anderson, SC, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020 in Florida.
She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Ann Payne (Fredrick I.) of Asheville, NC and Joye Brown of Jacksonville, FL; two sons, Steve McDavid of Jacksonville, FL and Thomas Brown (Wilma) of Midway, GA; four sisters, Eula Mae McDavid, Helen Cooley, Elvia Pendleton, and Brijette Norris; four brothers, Frank McDavid, Gannie McDavid, Carl McDavid, and David McDavid; ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Brown; parents, Franklin and Janie L. Hawthorne McDavid; two daughters, Deborah Dacus and Dianne Humphrey; and one grandson, Xavier Brown.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2020 at Welfare Baptist Church Cemetery.
Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
The family will start receiving friends at the home (509 Brittany Park in Anderson, SC 29621) on Sunday afternoon.
