James A. "Cadillac" Jenkins

James Albert Jenkins, better known as "Cadillac", made his heavenly transition on Sunday, November 5, 2023 in the comfort of his home.  Cadillac was born on December 14, 1945 in Anderson, SC.  He graduated from Blue Ridge High School and later attended Long Island University in Long Island, NY.  He was a dedicated truck driver and carpenter.  He was skilled in many trades and owned his own business.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his children, Andre Jenkins of New York, Tyrina Jenkins of Philadelphia, PA, Anthony Jenkins (Tiffany) of Anderson, SC, James Marshall Jenkins (Miranda) of Anderson, SC and Jessica Jenkins of Greenville, SC; brothers, Scottie Jenkins (Sue) of Charlotte, SC, Ronald Jenkins of Savannah, GA, Donald Jenkins (Patricia) of Anderson, SC, Ray Charles Lone of Atlanta, GA, Tim Lone of Greenville, SC, Joe Lone of Seneca, SC, and Keith Lone of Toccoa, GA; sisters, Patricia Jenkins of Anderson, SC, Maxine Wilks of Memphis, TN, Peggy Black of Central, SC, and Tyra Lone of Seneca, SC; seven grandchildren an eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relative and friends.  Cadillac also leaves precious memories with his loving fiance, Rose Marie Vance.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Brown Jenkins Stagger; his fathers, Lawrence Jenkins and James Charles Lone; two brothers, Barry Jenkins and Ricky Jenkins; and two sisters, Linda Jenkins and Betty Jean R. Massey.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  Public viewing will be held on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home
