Greta Robinson

Greta Alaina Lecretia Robinson, 45, of Greenville, SC, where she spent most of her adult life, was a native of Anderson, SC, transitioned on Thursday, October 31, 2024.

Greta Robinson is loved by many. She was a selfless, loving, nurturing, giving individual. Her energy was very infectious. She always gave encouraging and kind words to others. She was a wonderful mother to her son, Auston Jahvon Hall, whom she loved more than life itself. She was more than a caring great daughter to her mother. They were very best friends. Greta also was a sister, an aunt, a friend, an entrepreneur, and a creator.

Greta Robinson loved to travel, sing, party, and was very creative.  She was ambitious and driven to always pursue her desires, live a stress free life, and stand firm on what she believed. Greta was protective of her space and valued healthy positive relationships. 

Greta Robinson was only on this earth for 45 years but her impact, spirit, and legacy will live on throughout eternity.  Greta Robinson accomplishments are: 

McDuffie High School Graduate- Class of 1996

College - Bachelors of Art - Human Sciences - USC Beaufort in May 2020, although, the official commencement was in 2021. 

Greta was a hardworking go-getter with experience in the medical field, customer service, and social work.  She recently celebrated her official 4th year anniversary of her business, Cree’s Creations in October 2024. Greta had her business displayed at Westside Market in Greenville, SC starting June 2024, and Coal Miners Daughter at the Haywood Mall in the late summer of 2024. 

Greta has held an annual Back-To-School Bash every year since she started her business in 2020, which she alone mostly funded, except this current year, 2024. She was part of several entrepreneurial groups and organizations, in the Upstate of South Carolina (Squad Goals, and Village Launch). Greta was also an active vendor in South Carolina. Her innovative, elegant approach to business and creation caught the eye of local city and statewide supporters.

In her last days , Greta was intentional about “Protecting Her Peace”. She closed a lot of chapters in her life and started new chapters as well. She was intentional about her thoughts, feelings, goals and spiritual journey. Greta did not allow anything or anyone to stand in her way or change her mind about what she wanted to do. One of her last creations was for the “Celebrating Unity Pageant”  facilitated by Top Shelf Sports & Entertainment, LLC held in Greenville, SC on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, where she created T-Shirts and customized the sashes. Her creations still speaks today. She will be greatly missed.

You will forever live in the hearts of many and never be forgotten. She leaves to cherish fond memories, her beloved son Auston Jahvon Hall of Greenville, SC, her mother Barbara Robinson, of Anderson, SC, two brothers, Saverio T.A. Robinson, and LaRicko V. Robinson of Anderson, SC, two nephews, Etravious Robinson of Greer, SC and Bryson Robinson of Mauldin, SC, one neice, Yasmine Robinson of Chicago, IL, one god brother Munshay Garrett of Greenville, SC, two goddaughters, ShaMyia T. Darby of Charlotte, NC, and Macy A. Rapp of Anderson, SC, and a number of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

She was predeceased in death by a son Ahmad Jashon Hall, her father James A.L. Robinson, Jr., her 1st cousin Ingrid Wiley, and her grandparents.

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Jud Hub, located at 701 Easley Bridge Road in Greenville, SC.  Public viewing will be held on Saturday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
